Value Insurance
We insure all moves , however our quotes automatically come with $50,000 cargo insurance for the protection of your goods. If you have renter’s or homeowner’s insurance, you may already be covered or be able to purchase an inexpensive rider.

Great job! I contacted Marty at Sunbelt movers late Saturday afternoon after another company bailed on the job! I was all packed and no movers! Marty was at my home within thirty minutes after I called to do an on-site estimate. He offered a reasonable flat rate and had his crew at my home the following morning! The crew was excellent! They were professional, timely and efficient the entire time. All (and we had a lot) of my things were taken care of from start to finish. The crew was upbeat and friendly and we enjoyed working with them. I highly recommend and will use them again for any moving needs!!

After calling almost every moving company in Gainesville to get estimates, we selected Sunbelt. Customer Service was top notch! To give us an even more accurate estimate, Marty came out to our house and walked through. He told us way that we could cut down some of the moving time and gave us a price that was extremely reasonable. Also, there are no hidden fees. On moving day, the team of movers (4 men) were very personable and worked very efficiently. They took great care with moving every single piece of furniture and even moved our upright piano! I would recommend this company to anyone who is moving. After everything was completed we came in way under the original estimate because of the team work and efficiency. If you're looking for a moving company that's trustworthy, professional, and efficient Sunbelt Moving is the one! We had a major move (4 bdr/3 bth) house from Florida to Tennessee and Marty's crew, headed by David and Gary, was exceptional. They treated every piece of our furniture with the utmost care. We have a lot of wooden furniture and there wasn't a single bit of damage on anything due to their painstaking wrapping for protection. "Tiny" also did an excellent job of wrapping and packing all our fragile items. We have had several big moves but this one, by far, was the least stressful and that was due to the efficiency and professionalism of Sunbelt Moving.

An incredible company! Purchased a 72 inch TV console from Sam's Club. Initially they said they would deliver but that fell through. I contacted Sunbelt because of the great reviews. Marty was fantastic! In an hour we met his truck/driver and now have a beautiful console in our family room. Awesome experience! Recommend them highly.

They wrapped then taped all furniture. Unloading and set up at my new home was organized and efficient. They truly made the whole moving experience more tolerable. We are NOT fans of the "moving" thing! We had just completed our own unexpected, tiring, and extremely difficult "self-moving" adventure two months prior to being put in touch with Marty and the crew at SunBelt Moving, Gainesville. My elderly mother was an independently living and happy resident of The Village (North Florida Retirement Village), of Gainesville, FL. In March she suffered injuries from a medical event which has led to her less than stellar recovery and, as were her wishes, it was decided that she should vacate her apartment at the Village, so as to do away with that monthly expense.
Marty came and estimated, at a flat rate, a REASONABLE contractual price to pack, transport, unpack and place the belongings we wished to keep with us at our residence in Lake City.
Today, Marty and his crew, (Gary, DW, Ed and Pat), arrived ON TIME and in LESS than three hours had the items we wished to take with us protected, packed, loaded on the truck,, transported to Lake City, unloaded, unwrapped, and placed in our home WHERE WE ASKED THEM TO PLACE THEM. ALL the crew members were jovial, well-mannered, respectful and we took great notice of the CARE and ATTENTION they placed dealing with those pieces of memories that could never be replaced. We would strongly recommend this company to anyone considering a household move...commercial move...or ANY type of moving or storage business you need completed. We owe a GIANT debt of gratitude to Marty and the entire crew we met today who made an otherwise MOST unpleasant task much more tolerable.

I have used Sunbelt five times in the past few years and have been extremely satisfied with their work. As a professional musician, I have relied on them three times to move my grand piano - something that requires great care and specialized training to accomplish successfully. The guys worked quickly, but carefully, moving every piece of furniture, and there has never been the slightest damage to anything. These guys were great. Marty communicated with me directly and coordinated our time (with just a few days notice since we had short notice on our closing-- they were busy Saturday but were able to take care of us on Sunday morning). He was friendly and good about being in touch during a busy time for the business, including by text.
On the day of the move the truck was on time. DC, Phil, and DJ were also really friendly and were very efficient at the same time. They worked so fast we ran out of things to move (we wanted their help with just the heaviest stuff and had moved some things on our own the previous day). We should have waited, because they cleared things out fast and we ended up asking them to keep loading other little stuff so we'd get closer to using all of the 2 hr minimum. In the end it still only took an hour of work plus the half hour drive to move all our big stuff and some other random boxes. And they were careful! Clearly experienced at maneuvering bulky things in tight spots (and around ceiling fans). They wrapped everything in moving blankets before it went on the truck. (At first I was nervous that they moved things down the stairs unwrapped, then I figured it's to allow a better grip. The drawers weren't secured yet but they didn't slide open during that part.)
When we got to the new place they asked where to put everything, again doing it super fast and with care. They even asked which side each nightstand should go on. They reassembled the bed--the only small concern was that I found a screw from the bed in another room later and put it back in myself (easy). Also, I think I should have emptied the nightstand drawers because things shifted even though it was packed tightly, and a book fell behind a drawer after I opened it, and is stuck since the drawers don't come out. I have to unscrew the back to get it, but that's more my mistake.

Marty answered all my questions, beat other movers at price (I always get quotes), and was very flexible with my requests and when I had to move earlier. The four guys arrived on time, were pleasant, followed my directions exactly and there was no EGO! No drama. They worked together so well as a team. Polite, moved fast, protected my belongings. At the new place, they asked me exactly where to put things and made everything fun. (I'd had negative experiences with other companies damaging my stuff in Cal.) I highly recommend them. These guys have moving perfected. Called Marty and he came out to my house, brought me boxes and gave a me a firm price for moving me out of state. He contacted me the day before the move making sure I didnt need any help packing or need more boxes. He called again the morning of move double checking to see if I needed boxes or anything. When they arrived they were on time and were the most efficient group of guys I have ever had the pleasure to work with. Complely organized and took great care to wrap and pad all of my furniture. They all said they have been working for Marty for many years. They were truly amazing. NOTHING was damaged in the move.

These movers are not off the street. Some movers out there will definitely advertise as a moving business; yet, they come just for money, off the street as Day Laborer, including with a U-haul truck. For real! Sun Belt does come with a real moving truck as well as "real" strong workers!
Moreover, Sun Belt works with "experience" movers, as well as in a team working together with care and respect for your property. It's more than just money with their team; thank you for taking out the time to also care.
All of them have upbeat attitudes, customer orient, and gives exceptional service for sure. Thank you so much guys, surely. I am appreciative to have had movers that were respectful as well as to ensure my move was as smooth as possible. It was a great experience unlike what I've experience from others out there whom call them a moving business.
Further, Sun Belt were like light and day or black and white, when it comes to what movers supposed to be about. Sun Belt movers knows what it takes to move someone, successfully. You better believe they earned every bit of the money, and the money contract is very reasonable, especially how these movers work too. For real!

I had scheduled with Martin for a Saturday morning appointment. At 4:30 on Thursday I had to make a last minute change due to things beyond my control. I contacted Martin to see if there was anyway we could push things up to Friday morning. He checked the schedule and assured me that it could be done. Friday morning, his crew arrived at the agreed upon time. After a quick briefing on what needed to be done, they immediately set to work. They worked quickly and with the utmost professionalism while ensuring my things were handled with care. I highly recommend this company that’s looking for a good, reliable mover.

Recently moved from Gainesville to Tampa end of June 2020 during covid. Sunbelt had the most competitive pricing and went this way due to the positive overall reviews I'd come across. It was a 2/2 apartment (beds, couches, tv stands, dining table etc.) amount of moving, loading was about ~6 guys, Marty (boss) was present to see things through, and then 3 guys came down with the truck to Tampa. Overall was a positive experience, we did remind the movers to wear masks upon arrival and were cooperative, but we and they quickly realized the difficulty of this with exertion and the moving heavy things up and down the stairs and some of them weren't wearing them, so we just wore our N95s and let the movers do their thing without them. The guys were friendly, polite, helpful and we felt comfortable with them helping us through the move. Couple larger items were mildly further damaged/scuffed corners of fabric (larger bed), though with the awkward nature of the stairwell of our old place, couldn't imagine anyone to do better, the previous movers we used did exactly the same thing. Of note, also they were quick! and organized. 9am start in Gainesville, and done by ~3pm in Tampa fully offloaded, including a disassemble and reassemble of our dining table. Still with the efficiency treated our stuff with care from what we saw. I also liked how Marty came weeks beforehand to scope our old place out to make a note of logistics prior to moving day. Overall would recommend again and would certainly use again. Thank you to the movers and Marty.

I highly recommend Sunbelt Moving company. Little did I know that July was a busy time for movers, yet Marty fit our move in within a week of contacting him. His 4 men arrived on time and quickly, yet safely loaded our furniture and unloaded it in the same fashion. They were very professional and more reasonable than other movers I had gotten a quote from that couldn’t accommodate our move for a least two weeks. 5 stars for sure.

Sunbelt Movers has moved me twice in the last six years. They were on time, handled my furniture and possessions with care, disassembled my bed and reassembled it. And, they were very quick in loading and unloading with greatest care. I will be calling them today as I am planning an out-of-state move next month. Look no further. This company has moved my mother 3 times in the last 6 years, each time with the same great professionalism. They are trustworthy and their friendly attitudes make the difficulty of moving so much easier. These gentlemen are fast, polite and really careful with everything. My mother had a sudden heart event that required her leaving her lifelong home in TN and move to our home in Gainesville. We’d planned to move her furniture and other items in a rental trailer that we (foolishly) thought would be sufficient. From TN, I had randomly called Sunbelt Moving requesting manpower to help us unload Mom’s stuff into a Gainesville storage compartment. Coincidentally, Sunbelt was moving a customer to the same TN town as my mother’s and would be driving back to Gainesville in an empty truck. After advising us we were overestimating the size of our rental trailer, and offering us an alternative we couldn’t refuse, we cancelled the trailer, and set up the pickup/delivery specifics. Win-win! The experience went as smoothly as it possibly could. Marty and his team delivered excellent service at every turn and we couldn’t be happier.

Hands down the best moving company in Gainesville and the best movers I’ve ever used. I’ve had a few bad experiences over the years but these guys were amazing. Fast, friendly and reliable. The communication from start to finish was professional, timely and accurate. The reached out before the move to confirm the move and details. We have used SunBelt twice in the past year to move us locally and we have bee impressed both times. They were on time, fast, and went above and beyond when we encountered an issue with a faulty washing machine valve that prevented us from unhooking it. Very nice guys. Marty is the best!!! I originally booked with anther moving company that seemed less than trustworthy and was not responsive as we approached the date of my move. I came across Marty by accident as I was searching for wardrobe boxes. From day 1 he was attentive, professional and extremely responsive. He personally delivered wardrobe boxes and inspected my apartment to determine the size of my move. On the day of my move four men arrived on time and completely packed up my two-bedroom apt in 90 minutes. My items were delivered to Houston, Texas on time two days later. Overall, why experience with Marty and Dave could not have been better!

Marty and his team are FANTASTIC and I would highly recommend Sunbelt to anyone of my family and friends! I was really stressed about finding the right movers as I’ve had some bad experiences with other companies in the past and I’m so glad I met his team a few weeks ago in my apartment complex when they were moving out my neighbor. The team was meticulous and organized so I inquired about their moving services. Marty came out to my apartment to assess what it would cost, was very professional and helpful with any questions/concerns I had for my fragile items and provided me with sturdy boxes. On moving day, the team arrived on time, brought plenty of moving blankets and wrapped all my furniture and fragile items to make sure everything would arrive safely to Orlando (which it all did). It took them about an hour to load the truck and about an hour to unload the truck. The team is professional, friendly, and efficient!! Again, I’m really glad I found Sunbelt for my move and would highly recommend!!

Hired Marty the Mover crew to load. They are awesome and did a great job. They were on time and efficient/safe loaded my packed 10x20 unit into a truck. Hired for 4 hours and they finished 3 1/2 hours. Would hire again in a heart beat. Wished they’d unload my truck in Arkansas.

Marty and his crew did an excellent job. Marty stopped by the house to review the inventory and gave me a very reasonable estimate based on the actual inventory. On the day of the move, they called about half an hour before arrival, arrived on time, and loaded up everything on the truck within an hour or so. His crew was fantastic! This is the second time we have used Sunbelt to move and I must say both times were flawless. The movers that were sent both times were very professional and careful with all of our things. Marty and his great teams did a local move for me and they were everything you could hope for in a moving company. I usually dread moving and interacting with movers. In fact, I had a recent cross-country shipment that defined the horror that moving can be.
This move was the exact opposite of that. It was everything you could hope for, and more.
